Causes
- A sheet of paper has jammed inside the printer
Solutions
- Withdraw the cartridge and look underneath for the sheet
- Remove each paper tray and look for a jammed sheet
- Open the rear door of the printer to locate the sheet.
BE CAREFUL! The fuser may be very hot!
- If you did not find anything, try printing again
Causes
- Printer rollers are worn
- Paper has static
- Paper is humid
- Fuser may be defective
Solutions
- Remove static from paper
- Make sure paper is not stored in a humid place
Causes
- Toner has fallen from your cartridge to the paper
- Toner has fallen from the printer and is staining the back of the paper
- A printer part (fuser, feeders, etc.) is staining the paper

- Try another ink cartridge
- Printer needs cleaning
